This website is specific to our operations at the Stoney Creek Regional Facility (SCRF) located at the northwest corner of Mud Street and Upper Centennial Parkway (Highway 20) in the community of upper Stoney Creek. The SCRF has been a fixture in the community since 1996, employs over 20 employees, and has contributed over $22 million dollars to community groups, sports and recreational programs, charitable initiatives and local infrastructure projects in Stoney Creek.

Operating hours for landfill construction operations: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Operating hours for receiving waste remains unchanged.
The GFL Stoney Creek Regional Facility has received 1 odour complaint from July 10th to July 16th, 2025.
Ongoing: perimeter inspections for odour detection; deodorizer operations; air monitoring; daily waste relocation; and design and consultation of the new leachate pre-treatment facility.
Since July 10, GHD field staff have been onsite daily, conducting odour screening around the facility as part of our ongoing efforts to detect and mitigate odours.
